Settings

The following is a description of the settings found in the Settings Screen and the Pause Menu.

Settings Screen

In the Settings Screen, settings are categorized.

Interface

  • Target Indicators: If On, a visual indicator will be shown when you change your target.
  • Counter Feedback: If On, when pressing the block button to counter moves, an indicator shows whether you pressed too early, too late or perfectly in time, just like in the tutorial.
  • HUD: If On, the HUD is displayed on the bottom of the screen during a match, showing a profile picture and the Stats of current participants.
  • Match Timer: If On, the match time is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen during a match.
  • Messages: Enables or disables the on-screen messages shown, for example, a wrestler is eliminated or free wrestler selection is used.

Audio

  • SFX Volume: The volume of sound effects, the announcer and entrance themes.
  • Menu Music Volume: The volume of the menu background music.
  • Match Music Volume: The volume of the background music during a match.

Graphics

  • Vertical Synchronisation: Synchronizes the framerate to your screen's refresh rate. If you experience screen tearing, setting this to On helps most of the time!
  • Anti-Aliasing (MSAA): The number of anti-aliasing samples taken for rendering. More samples means smoother edges, but worse performance.
  • Audience Detail: Determines how the audience is rendered.
    • Balanced: The crowd near the ring is in 3D, the cheap seats are rendered as 2D billboards.
    • Full 3D: The entire crowd, even in the back, is rendered in 3D.
    • 2D Billboards: The entire crowd is rendered as 2D billboards.
  • Audience Shadows: If On, the 3D crowd will also cast shadows.

ℹ The following graphics settings are recommneded for weak and/or old hardware:

Anti-Aliasing: Off, Audience Detail: 2D Billboards

Input

  • Gamepad Vibration: If On, your gamepad will vibrate if your wrestler takes damage or something you want to do cannot be done.

Gameplay

  • Match Speed: Sets the gameplay pace.
    • Normal: The originally intended speed.
    • Faster: This is a bit faster. (10% faster than Normal)
    • Light Speed: This is quite a bit faster. (20% faster than Normal)
    • Ridiculous Speed: Things are getting out of hand. (30% faster than Normal)
    • Ludicrous Speed: Careful with the hand brake … (50% faster than Normal)

⚠ The game was developed with Normal pace in mind. I understand that this is too slow for some folks, and that's why this setting exists. However, increasing the match speed may intensify ragdoll glitches.

Pause Menu Settings

Some settings are available even during the match via the pause menu. These are accessible by pressing Start (ESC on keyboards).

Additionally to the settings in the Settings Screen, the following settings are available in the pause menu:

  • Camera: Choose which camera is being used. On keyboards, you can also toggle the camera ingame using F1, F2 etc.
  • Music: Select the match background music.
