Custom Entrance Themes
This step-by-step tutorial covers giving your wrestler a custom entrance theme.
For a more technical reference, please refer to the Content Pack and its subpages, particularly on Entrance Themes.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Create a Wrestler
Unless you already did it, create a wrestler so that you have a Content Pack. Wrestlers from Create-A-Wrestler as well as imported wrestlers are supported in the same way.
2. Place the Audio File
Close the game.
Find your wrestler's content pack directory in your file browser (its name starts with an ID value followed by the name of the wrestler). In there, you should find a file name Content.json and a directory called Wrestlers. Create a new directory Themes (next to Wrestlers, not inside it) and copy your audio file there. The game supports MP3 (.mp3) and Ogg Vorbis (.ogg) files up to ten mebibytes (10 MiB).
3. Select it as Entrance Theme
Start the game, go to Create-A-Wrestler mode and edit your wrestler. Your entrance theme should appear on a separate page in the theme selection of the Entrance menu.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot find your entrance theme, chances are it was not imported. The reason for that should be found in the logfile.
4. Edit Metadata
Next to your audio file, you should now see another file with the same name but the .json extension. Open it using a text editor (e.g., Notepad) and fill in meta information as described on the Entrance Themes page – e.g., artist name, volume gain, loop markers and tempo.
Changes to this file are only reflected once you restart the game.
5. Ready to Go!
Go ahead, put your wrestler in a match and enjoy your custom entrance theme!
If you find it too loud or too quiet, head back to step 4 and adjust the volume gain accordingly.
6. Share It!
If you share your wrestler on the Steam Workshop, your entrance theme will be included.
Note that by the Steam Subscriber Agreement, it is your responsibility to make sure you hold the necessary rights to publish the content that you share.
